Le para-tir \u00e0 l'arc africain \u00e9tait repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par deux athl\u00e8tes aux Jeux Paralympiques de Paris 2024 : Shaun ANDERSON, d'Afrique du Sud dans la cat\u00e9gorie Hommes W1, et Aliou DRAME, du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, dans la cat\u00e9gorie Poulies Hommes Open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les r\u00e9sultats du classement ont vu de tr\u00e8s bons scores dans presque toutes les cat\u00e9gories avec de nouveaux records paralympiques battus tels que celui du Chinois AI Xinliang (CMO) qui a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 709 points sur 720 possibles\u00a0! Nos archers ont \u00e9galement fait du bon travail, comme ce fut le cas avec ANDERSON qui s\u2019est class\u00e9 9 sur 13 en r\u00e9alisant le meilleur score de sa saison avec 638 points. Le S\u00e9n\u00e9galais DRAME n\u2019a pas fait exception puisqu\u2019il s\u2019est class\u00e9 28 sur 32 apr\u00e8s avoir marqu\u00e9 672 points, r\u00e9alisant ainsi son meilleur r\u00e9sultat personnel jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent..\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lors des tours \u00e9liminatoires, ANDERSON de la RSA a cr\u00e9\u00e9 la surprise en battant le Turc AYDIN d\u2019un seul point 133 \u2013 132 et s\u2019est qualifi\u00e9 pour les quarts de finale. Il a perdu 136 \u00e0 134 apr\u00e8s une tr\u00e8s bonne performance contre le Chinois ZHANG qui s\u2019est class\u00e9 1er\u00a0lors du tour de classement et qui venait juste de battre un nouveau record Paralympique.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour le S\u00e9n\u00e9galais DRAME, les choses ne se sont pas d\u00e9roul\u00e9es comme pr\u00e9vu puisqu\u2019il a perdu son premier match contre l\u2019Indien KUMAR 136-131. Malgr\u00e9 la d\u00e9faite et l\u2019\u00e9limination, DRAME a confirm\u00e9 la bonne forme qu\u2019il a montr\u00e9 durant les qualifications prouvant qu\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 bien pr\u00e9par\u00e9 pour cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement.<\/p>\n\n\n

Comme annonc\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, le tir \u00e0 l'arc africain n'est pas repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 aux Jeux Paralympiques uniquement par les archers. Notre juge international et Secr\u00e9taire G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la WAAf, Dr Ahmed KOURA, EGY, repr\u00e9sente fi\u00e8rement les juges africains de tir \u00e0 l'arc dans l'\u00e9dition actuelle des jeux. L'exp\u00e9rience d'Ahmed Koura avec des \u00e9v\u00e9nements de ce calibre est assez riche : il a offici\u00e9 aux Jeux Paralympiques de Tokyo 2020, aux Jeux Olympiques de Rio 2016, aux premiers Jeux Olympiques de la Jeunesse \u00e0 Singapour en 2010 et aux deuxi\u00e8mes Jeux Olympiques de la Jeunesse \u00e0 Nanjing 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
