Five WAAf North-zone countries took part in a regional archery tournament in Djerba, Tunisia from 25 to 30 April, 2023. Recurve and compound archers from Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, and Sudan competed in the 12th Arab Archery Championship that took place for the first time on the Island of Djerba, in the south of Tunisia. Almost all the medal matches saw north African archers compete in them. At the end of the tournament, Egypt topped the final ranking with 27 medals including 16 gold. Tunisia and Algeria were ranked fourth and fifth, respectively with 26 different medals for the first and 17 for the second.
